GRSoftware Email Robot Software Description

Sometimes we need to update or transfer some files from one computer to another but for security reasons we do not want to install any software that can open unwanted ports in our computers.
GRSoftware Email Robot solves this problem using email. You can easily zip your files and then create a "custom" email message so that the GRSoftware Email Robot on the other computer can find and handle.
How you will identify the correct message depends on what strings you will choose so it is virtually impossible to decipher them. GRSoftware Email Robot periodically checks your POP3 email account and when it finds the right message it will carry out the "action" you have selected: save the message, unzip the attached files and save them to a specified folder or directly save the attached files as is. Optionally you can delete the message from the POP3 server.
You can add as many Jobs as you want and for each you can define a priority and a date after which the Job will be executed as well as a comment that explains what you are doing for a later review.
Of course you can enable or disable a Job so that you can add them all and then enable the one you are interested in. This is a really flexible automation tool you need to have in your software toolkit.

In detail GRSoftware Email Robot is an email automation tool that can receive POP3 email messages and execute a specified action without your intervention. You can define a list of Jobs to do. Each Job defines what field of the email message to check: None (disabled), Subject, From, To, Body, Attached file name.
You can define two checks that should both verified. The check can be one of: No check (all), Contains (case), Contains (no case), Equal (case), Equal (no case), Not Equal (case), Not Equal (no case), Starts with (case), Starts with (no case), Ends with (case), Ends with (no case) and Is Empty. If an email message satisfies these checks then you can specify one action: Unzip attached file (overwrite existing), Unzip attached file (NOT overwrite existing), Save attached file (overwrite existing), Save attached file (NOT overwrite existing), Save the message and Do Nothing.
After the action has been executed the program can execute a specified program with supplied parameters to allow you to process the saved files with an external application.
Each Job has an associated comment that let you better explain what you are doing, a check box to enable or disable it and a date after which the Job become active.
GRSoftware Email Robot can check a list of POP3 account (each one can be enabled or disabled and tested) and you can define the frequency in minutes to check them. You can also define the program priority in order to make the program really transparent to all your other computer activities. GRSoftware Email Robot also supports message Macros that are expanded when the message is processed. Finally GRSoftware Email Robot offers you detailed log reporting of all its activities.

Supports some macros inside the body text.
Can rename the attached files before saving them.
Can change the destination path using the body or subject of the email message.
